Because it’s my website… we're gonna keep talking about me! Here’s a little bit about who I am:
When not actively performing, teaching, or administrating, you may find me out in the community. I have a passion for outreach to help lift up artists who may be in underrepresented communities. Growing up, I had little to no access to the arts early on due to financial restrictions. Many early opportunities were given to me through scholarship and work study. For this reason, it is my long term goal to lift up other artists the very way I was lifted up.
In addition to my love of outreach, I can also be found spending my time out in nature canoeing, fishing, hiking, or really anything that involves me going outside. I'm an expert when it comes to locating any sort of invasive outdoor species located in the Midwest. Don’t catch me around some Curly Dock… I will pull it out of the ground.
Above all else, the most important thing to me is spending time with my family. It should be noted that any of the work you see on the website was only made possible by the endless support I’ve been given by those who love me.
